PM was in Pakistani artillery fire range for 20-minute on Punjab flyover - Congress leader Tiwari
The country's prime minister was in Pakistan's heavy artilleries range for 20 minutes on a Punjab flyover, talking about the seriousness of the matter, senior Congress leader Manish Tiwari said, "It is not in my wisdom to compare the safety of the Prime Minister with the security of someone else.
He was speaking to private media about this, “When it comes to the safety of the Prime Minister of the country, the significance of the matter is different. Look ... in which place his(Prime Minister's) convoy was stopped and stationed, it was only ten kilometers away from the international border. And the heavy artilleries with Pakistan, which are deployed on the Indo-Pakistan border, our artilleries also will be deployed, will be with a range of 35-36 kilometers," he expressed.
Further he said, "Hence, It is not in my wisdom to compare the safety of the Prime Minister of country with the security of someone else", Senior Congress leader said.
Sharing this video BJP leader Amit Malviya writes, "Congress leader Manish Tewari explains that Prime Minister was within the range of Pakistan’s artillery when he got stuck on the flyover. This completely rubbishes Punjab CM Channi’s claim that there was no threat. It is clear that Gandhi’s Congress put PM Modi in harm’s way…", in tweet.
